New Faces!

CAMPUS STAFF: AUCKLAND UNIVERSITY
Jordyn Cram
Last year, we prayed for a new female staff member to join our Auckland campus team. Jordyn is God’s answer. She is from Maine, USA. As a student, Jordyn came to know Jesus through the Navigators on her campus and she has now been on Navigators staff for seven and a half years.

Jordyn is most excited about “Discipling students and raising the next wave of generational labourers, as well as the beautiful diversity of both cultural and spiritual backgrounds present at Auckland University .”
INTERN 2025: AUCKLAND UNIVERSITY
Danny Su.
Danny came to faith while studying at University and has grown in his passion for sharing Jesus with others. This year, his heart for reaching the lost led him to turn down a job offer and an offer to undertake higher study. Instead, he chose to step out in faith as a Navigators intern.

Danny is most excited about “Discipling students who may have come from a similar non-Christian family background as I did and seeing God transform their lives for his purpose.”

Danny has just completed his degree in Mechanical Engineering at Auckland University.

Aaliyah Tubby
Aaliyah is the answer to our wild dream of exchanging interns with Canada Navigators. We sent Gerdion Venter to Canada in 2023, and Aaliyah was the first Canadian to reach our shores. It is exciting to have her on board and marvel at the energy she brings to reaching students for Jesus.

Aaliyah is most excited about “Creating connections with students in New Zealand through the love of Jesus.”

Aaliyah was a student at Carleton University, Ottawa and has finished a degree in Linguistics.
INTERN 2025: CANTERBURY UNIVERSITY
Cosette Havelaar
Cosette first connected with Navigators when she came along to a Bible study with a friend. She then became a flatmate at the UC Navigators outreach flat before moving to Wellington. Now, back with the UC Navigators team, she has really felt a desire to invest in others for the sake of the gospel.

She said she’s most excited about ” the opportunity to walk alongside other young women in their faith journey and to be able to point them to Christ and his love!

Cosette is a talented Trombone player and has studied music at Canterbury and Victoria Universities.

Catherine Orr
Catherine is another flatmate at the Kirkwood Ave Navigators house in Christchurch. She hails from Palmerston North, moving to Christchurch to study chemistry. Catherine loves science and considered a PhD before accepting the internship for 2025. She decided her real passion was to invest in student’s lives while she had the opportunity. Many of her peers thought Catherine’s choice was radical.

Catherine says, “I’m most excited to see how God is going to work in me to help both me and his kingdom grow.

Catherine has just completed her Chemistry degree at UC.

Myah Clark
Four years ago, Myah was beginning to learn how to walk with Jesus, and now she is stepping out in faith as an intern. She isn’t from a Christian family and first met Jesus through a youth outreach programme. One reason for becoming an intern is to upskill in an area of youth-related ministry, something that is very much on her heart.

She is most excited about “growing in my faith and helping others to do the same while learning more about Jesus as I do!”

Myah has just completed her degree in Youth Work, French and Māori at UC.
