The Legacy Of The Navigators Flat

Sarah Campbell

The Navigators student flat is foundational to the UC Navigators ministry. The students and staff that have rotated in and out of the flat have brought community, hospitality, fun and love. It’s often a revolving door of people popping in and out making it “the most fun, yet most exhausting place to live,” said one previous tenant.  “But I wouldn’t have traded this experience”, she concluded, for all it taught and encouraged her in.

Our prayer is that this house continues to serve as a place for students to meet Jesus and experience the love and community of the body of Christ. Thank you to all of our virtual flatmates over the years.  We are creating a legacy fund to continue to supplement the cost to rent the home. We’d love to add your name to our legacy plate, made by the current flatmates, to show incoming students of all that has gone before them.  Please let us know if we can’t include your name or if you’d like to come and sign the plate yourself. The door is always open!

If you aren’t yet a virtual flatmate and would like to contribute to the flat, you can sign up here.

Here’s a great picture of the most recent flatties as we made the legacy plate.
