Our People – Profile

Hey there! My name is Gerdion and I currently serve in the campus ministry work at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. I encountered the Navigators in my first year of studying in Christchurch and I quickly found myself coming regularly to the Nav nights. God reached me through multiple people teaching me who Christ was and what His resurrection means for us now. A key person was Nick Maddy, and international intern, who came for two years and delved deep into friendship and God’s truth with me. It took some time, but God softened my heart to want to disciple others like I have been and to see young men come alive in Christ. This resulted in me being sent to Canada by the New Zealand Navigators to serve at Carleton University. I hope to see God’s Kingdom grow at Carleton as I invest in those He places before me, with a desire to see them pass on the hope that they have in Christ wherever they go!
